Summer Open Day at Sharpham

Summer Open Day at Sharpham

Published: 05 July 2016

We welcomed people to explore and enjoy Sharpham House and grounds on Sunday July 3, 2016.

We had music, poetry and storytelling, mindfulness taster sessions, house and garden tours, willow weaving, foraging, soil-tasting, the RSPB, Ambios and Share in the Sheep, Spike the Thistle and the Sharpham hobgoblin.

And we had the sunshine too - along with more than 700 visitors.

The weekend also included performances from Play Torbay's Quest for Capability Brown - haha! These were interactive shows where the audience made props, watched and participated in a time-travelling story about the designer of Sharpham's landscape.

Our next Open Day is Apple Day: Sunday October 9
