Information & application form

As the bursary is for those in financial hardship, if you do not provide enough information about your financial circumstances we will be unable to consider your application. Please note:

  • Bursaries are limited to one place per year across The Trust (April – March) which includes Sharpham House, The Coach House, The Barn and Woodland
  • Bursary funding is limited and allocated at the discretion of the Sharpham Trust and a completed application form does not automatically guarantee a bursary

Learn how nature mindfulness on retreat at Sharpham can assist you if you're anxious or suffering depression and low mood

Mindfulness for Anxiety & Low Mood Retreats

Thanks to generous funding, we can offer additional bursary support for our Mindfulness for Anxiety and Low Mood retreats at The Coach House.

For people experiencing financial hardship, we offer:

50% bursary places - These can be booked directly through our website, on a first-come, first-served basis.
100% bursary places - If you need a fully-funded place because of financial hardship, email our Programme Administrator on [email protected] to request further information and an application form.

Who are bursaries for?

Our bursaries are specifically for people experiencing financial hardship who would otherwise find it difficult or impossible to afford a retreat.

This might include people who are:

  • unwaged or unemployed
  • on a low income
  • receiving benefits
  • experiencing financial difficulty
  • unable to meet the full retreat cost without financial support

We don't want anyone to feel embarrassed about asking for help. Bursary funding exists to remove financial barriers and help make our retreats accessible to people with fewer financial resources.

All bursary applications are treated sensitively and confidentially.
