Recipe: energy balls

A recipe from The Barn's cookbooks

Sweet treats that are easy to make and that can be vegan.

Think of them as healthier alternatives to Christmas chocolates...


Ingredients

180g chopped, dried apricot

200g peeled, chopped apple

6 rice cakes, lightly crushed

30g carob, cocoa or protein powder

150ml agave syrup, maple syrup, or honey

120g toasted sunflower seeds

60g toasted sesame seeds

80g rolled oats

200g tahini


Method

Mix all the ingredients together.

Roll into 25 balls and refrigerate.

Eat!
