Growing Awareness - harvest feast

Growing Awareness - harvest feast

Published: 21 August 2018

Bryony Middleton, new Head Gardener at The Sharpham TrustWelcome to the latest news-post with our Head Gardener Bryony Middleton

Here she tells us about the recent harvest feast.

Celebrating abundance

I wanted a way to celebrate the wonderful harvest that the Walled Garden has given us, whilst also thanking the volunteers who have helped out all year round.

What better way than a feast?

We prepared a host of delicious dishes, made from the produce, set out chairs and tables in the sunshine (lucky!) and then we tucked in.

I know you can't actually taste the food, but it comes across better in pictures than in words, so I'll let them tell the story...

PS: If you're interested in joining our weekly band of garden volunteers, you can read about how to do so right here
