Retreatant Mike Cox wrote this poem after participating in a Woodland mindfulness retreat at Sharpham in May 2017:

So can I

Saplings sway,
So do I,
Trees tremble,
So do I,
Forests feel,
So do I.

Brooks Babble,
So do I,
Streams struggle,
So do I,
Rivers rage,
So do I.

That flower that flourishes?
So can I,
And nature that nourishes?
So can I,
The fire, that flames from within?
So can I.
