Recipe: Salad dressings for summer

Salad dressings from Sharpham

These dressings are perfect for putting over fresh salads - and they can all be made vegan as well.

Fresh herb dressing

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 2 tsp assorted fresh herbs (mint, oregano, basil, coriander), finely chopped

Put all ingredients in a jar and shake until well blended.


Hollyhock dressing

  • 80ml water
  • 80ml tamari or soy sauce
  • 80ml balsamic or apple cider vinegar
  • 60g nutritional yeast
  • 240ml olive oil
  • 1 small clove of garlic (optional)

Blend all ingredients together until smooth


Herb & Yoghurt salad dressing

  • 1 tsp fresh mint, chopped
  • 1 tsp fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 125ml dairy or soy yoghurt

Combine all ingredients together until smooth.
