Energy balls - a recipe from The Sharpham Trust

A recipe from The Barn's cookbook

Sweet treats that are easy to make and that can be vegan.

Think of them as healthier alternatives to chocolates...


Ingredients

  • 180g chopped, dried apricot
  • 200g peeled, chopped apple
  • 6 rice cakes, lightly crushed
  • 30g carob, cocoa or protein powder
  • 150ml agave syrup, maple syrup or honey
  • 120g toasted sunflower seeds
  • 60g toasted sesame seeds
  • 80g rolled oats
  • 200g tahini

Method

Mix all the ingredients together.

Roll into 25 balls and refrigerate.

Eat!
