An exquisite new calendar Growing Through the Seasons has been created by people connected to Sharpham.

Our Head Gardener Bryony Middleton has collaborated on a Vegetable Growing Calendar with her sister Isla, an artist, printmaker and textile designer who works in Sharpham's kitchen and woodland campsite.

The calendar is a celebration of seasonal vegetables, edible flowers and foraged plants, and should inspire people to sow, grow and harvest fresh produce straight from the garden.

Said Bryony "It also promotes the importance of seasonal and locally-grown organic food and the positive benefits of connecting with nature".

Each month features a hand-crafted vegetable linocut print by Isla, alongside advice and practical growing tips to help you plan the year from seed to harvest by Bryony. A growing chart is included at the back of the calendar.

If you have ever wandered around our Walled Garden and wanted to recreate the vegetable abundance at home, then this is for you!

The Middleton sisters have have carefully selected one of the most ecological printers in the UK, who use brown, eco kraft, 100% waste fibre, recycled paper and vegan-friendly inks.

The calendar can be bought from Sharpham House for £14 cash (with a donation from the sale of each calendar in the House going towards the Trust's bursary fund.

You can also buy the calendar direct from Isla's website here
