Overview

Are you longing for greater compassion, clarity and emotional balance in your everyday life?

This 8-week online course draws on proven mindfulness approaches and compassion practices to support you in becoming more present, grounded and gently compassionate for yourself, others and the world around you.

Our trained and experienced teacher will guide you week-by-week through meditations, reflections and practical exercises designed to deepen your understanding of self-compassion, care for others and mindful living. This course offers a supportive and transformative space for personal growth.

This course is for you if you are:

  • Aged 18+ and wishing to strengthen self-kindness, emotional resilience, and mindful awareness
  • Wishing to move beyond stress-reduction, exploring deeper themes of compassion, empathy and innerwork
  • Seeking practical, real-life tools to respond more skilfully to life’s challenges, relationships and everyday pressures
  • Wanting to embed mindfulness and compassionate living as a habit, not just a practice
What is Mindfulness?

Prerequisite

Participants will have completed an 8-week course in MBSR or MBCT or attended a mindfulness retreat or equivalent immersive mindfulness experience. This ensures all participants have foundational mindfulness skills to fully benefit from the compassionate living practices.

*Given the nature of self-compassion practices, it is common for old trauma to arise, particularly around Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).

If you have experienced any ACEs - and before attending this course - we ask you to discuss your participation with a psychologist or therapist to see if this retreat is appropriate for you at this time.

What you'll experience on this course:

  • Guided meditations and compassion practices to develop kindness toward yourself and others, and to soften habitual self-criticism
  • Greater awareness of how habitual patterns shape your thoughts, feelings and reactions, with gentle tools to respond with openness rather than reactivity
  • Nourishing self-care practices, helping you cope with stress, fatigue, overwhelm or emotional difficulty with steadiness and clarity
  • Skills to bring mindfulness and compassion into daily life, relationships, work or home, so that the course continues to serve you long after it ends
  • Audio practices and a booklet to support your journey during and beyond the course.
