Our new Coach House venue was recently created by converting the historic stableyard that lies between the main House and the walled gardens. It has a secluded monsatic courtyard and its own garden and patio for alfresco dining.
There are 18 comfortable single bedrooms, most of which have en-suite shower rooms and are are situated around the central courtyard.
The Trust worked with local company Carpenter Oak to create a wonderful timber framed extension which acts as a dining room and meeting space.
The Coach House has its own library where participants can relax and browse.
The Coach House has its own walled garden with a patio for alfresco dining and a small lawn.
Participants have access to the wider gardens including the woodland garden, the lawns and the orchards.
Participants on retreat are able to use the open air swimming pool in the walled garden from May to September.
There are extensive private walking routes aroubd the estate as well as a 2.5km cycling and walking route to Totnes.
