
Accessibility in our Woodland Campsite
The Woodland Campsite is based at the top of the gardens at Sharpham in a small wooded area. The site is accessed by the car park in close proximity to the campsite. A wheelbarrow is provided to help with luggage and there is a Camp Manager on hand who can also help with the this.
The site is situated on uneven ground and activities usually involve walking up and down the hill to the gardens each day and sometimes down to the river each day – a 20 minute walk. We recommend that campers have a reasonable level of fitness and energy levels in order take part fully in the retreats.
Wheelchair Users
Unfortunately, our Woodland Retreats are not suitable for wheelchair users or for people with significant mobility difficulties due to the nature of the site and the lack of accessible facilities.
We offer retreats in Sharpham House and the Coach House which both have accessible bedrooms and facilities.
