Barn retreatant Karen has lent her artistic touch to the decor at The Barn, by designing wonderful new room labels.
Karen Insignares is a regular on the work retreats we regularly hold at The Barn but she went the extra mile when she created these exquisite, illustrative designs.
"Karen...is just a gorgeous person to be around," said Nina Jankelson, assistant Barn Manager. "Knowing she loves creating labels I asked her to update the doors on the last work retreat but she wanted to take the project home".
She documented her process in pictures and then sent the beautiful finished items back to The Barn. Said Karen: "I’m just grateful I got the chance to do this little project, it has given me the creative boost I was needing, so thank you from the bottom of my heart".
Retreatant Joseph recently shared artworks he originated whilst on retreat at The Barn. Said Nina: "It's really sweet when people are creatively inspired by The Barn," she added.
Now Karen's signs are in place, delighting team members and retreatants whenever they pass through a door at the communal, Buddhist-inspired venue.
