Level of commitment

To get the most out of this course we strongly recommend that you attend all the sessions if you can and sign up to the course as part of prioritising your self-care over these challenging times.

However, we know that many of you have busy work schedules so each session can also work on a standalone basis, giving you an opportunity to take a pause in a busy day.

Technical requirements

The course will take place using the online platform Teams. To use Teams you will need a computer or a phone with a speaker and camera. Instructions will be sent with your Welcome email when you book.

You can also download the Teams app here to familiarise yourself with it and make sure it meets your system requirements.

Mental health

Although mindfulness can be helpful in managing depression and anxiety, this course might not be appropriate for people who are currently experiencing an episode of clinically diagnosed anxiety, depression or other psychiatric illness.

The course is offered as an aid to everyday health, wellbeing and helping prevent relapse rather than as a ‘clinical intervention’.
