Rooms in the House
Sharpham is a special house in a spectacular setting where we hope you can feel at home and enjoy the relaxed, friendly and cosy atmosphere.
Lots of people think that because we're a historic house it will be draughty and cold, but it's warm and cosy here (thanks to our eco-sensitive wood-chip boiler).
Our bedrooms
We have 24 bedrooms available, made up of Heritage, Premium and Standard rooms, sleeping up to 47 guests in the main House, the South Wing and the West Wing.
Our Heritage bedrooms are our most spacious & historic rooms, helping you deeply rest and rejuvenate in a nourishing and inspiring atmosphere.
Our Premium bedrooms are attractive rooms with good views of the stunning countryside that surrounds us.
Our Standard bedrooms are smaller and cost less, but they’re still cosy and comfy.
We have a single accessible room with an en-suite accessible bathroom - click here to read more about accessibility at Sharpham
Our bathrooms
We have 8 shared bathrooms and 5 en-suites.
Our rooms
Our Music Room provides a comfortable social space, while our Maurice Ash Room provides a useful workshop room. Our Library is well stocked with philosophical, spiritual, art and ecological books and our Dining Room opens on to the garden terrace, with spectacular views over the River Dart.
