Retreatant Adam shared this fabulous sketch with us after he visited us in August 2025.
He drew Sharpham House from our wildflower meadow, only to discover he was in the right place at the right time - according to the geo-location app What3Words!
The app assigns three words to a particular square area of the world, ensuring that you can explain exactly where you are, down to the closest few metres.
Adam found that he was in the square that had been allotted the words: Joyously - Perfected - Positions.
"The what 3 words address is genuine - fantastic isn't it?" said Adam.
"My experience of Sharpham House is life-changing - spending 5 days with my tribe feeling I can be open and relaxed with fellow retreatants - it doesn't get much closer," he added.
"Ideas I have become focused and gel in that atmosphere. My aim is to be happier as I get older and this is my gateway to that end".
Adam created his work on paper and showed it to the Sharpham team.
"I love the idea of a building in nature where the landscape is dominant but allows the house to exist," he said. "The combination of the house and grounds with the steep sloping hill opposite sums up the look of the beautiful environment that is Sharpham for me".
