Weddings at Sharpham
We are now taking bookings for weddings in 2024 and beyond
On a few limited occasions each year, the Trust welcomes couples to use 18th century Sharpham House and its wonderful gardens exclusively for their weddings, with all proceeds going to help support the work of the charity and upkeep of the Estate.
We all had such a wonderful time at Sharpham. All your staff have been so kind, helpful and considerate and it all contributed to a wonderful wedding weekend.
Have your memorable wedding in a stunning, historical and breathtaking setting.

Before and after the wedding, you and your guests can be accommodated in comfortable bedrooms among relaxed surroundings, while you can choose from five elegant rooms in this Georgian Palladian mansion designed in 1770 by Sir Robert Taylor, all licensed to hold your civil wedding ceremony.
Many couples choose to hold their ceremony on our famous feature: our spectacular, oval, cantilevered staircase, rising three floors beneath a domed ceiling and lantern skylight.
For the reception
You may choose to hire a marquee or a tipi to put on our lawns.
Your reception and drinks can be taken in the tranquil setting of lush lawns and gardens with breathtaking views of the River Dart and gorgeous natural scenery making a fabulous and memorable backdrop for your wedding and your photographs.
Sharpham Trust Weddings & Civil Partnerships information & booking form NB: wedding capacities & options will be dependent on the Government's Covid-19 guidelines in place on the actual date of your ceremony. |
