Volunteer for our rewilding project

Thursdays (weekly) & Fridays (monthly), 10.30am-3.30pm

There are TWO ways to volunteer for our rewilding project Sharpham Wild for People:

Volunteers next to a new withy fence1) A weekly conservation and estate group, with space for 8 volunteers each time, working on general conservation activities such as making tree guards, erecting bird boxes and building fences.

Volunteers will need to be over the age of 18 and in good health.

Download more information about the role here as a PDF, here as a Word .doc

2) A monthly rewilding day, with space for 8 volunteers each time. This will include surveys of the land, working on our Bioblitz and supporting the rewilding project generally. These sessions will be more family-friendly so children can come along.

Contact Lucy our volunteer co-ordinator on [email protected] to book a space for the volunteer session and determine if you need transport from Totnes.

Once you have requested a space, Lucy will email driving/transport instructions and confirm your place. Places are limited and will be allocated on a 'first come, first served' basis.
