Part time, permanent position - £8.56 per hour
The Sharpham Trust is an education and conservation charity. At the heart of the Trust's ethos is our desire to build a more mindful, compassionate and environmentally sustainable world. We connect people with nature and foster mindfulness and well-being through our programme of retreats, mindfulness courses, outdoor learning and the arts.
If you can identify with our values, enjoy working with people, would like to work as part of a small housekeeping team looking after residential guests and groups staying in Sharpham House and can present rooms and facilities to a high standard then we would love to hear from you.
Ideally you should have previous housekeeping experience in a similar environment. You should be conscientious, hard-working, friendly and possess good communication skills as you will be expected to help and assist guests staying with us, including welcoming guests on arrival and supervising cooks and groups in the absence of the House Manager. You must be well organised as you will be expected to work on your own initiative and to prioritise daily tasks.
The post is permanent for 16 hours per week which requires flexibility and will include some weekend work and occasional additional hours as required.
A suitable means of transport is essential due to the rural location of Sharpham House.
Please send your CV with a letter of application to Jane Hutchinson, Trust Administrator, Sharpham Trust, Sharpham House, Ashprington, Totnes, Devon, TQ9 7UT or email email@example.com
Closing date: 11th September. Interview Date: 18th September
