Rewilding tours

Sunday 3 July, 10.30am to 12.00pm and 1.30pm to 3.00pm

A fantastic opportunity to explore the fields that we've been rewilding since April 2020.

Learn all about our riverside rewilding project Wild for People, which has turned 50 acres of conventional farmland back to nature.

Spot wildlife and grazers, including our Mangalitza pigs, as you are led through the fields alongside the Totnes-to-Sharpham foot/cycle path.

Your guide will be an expert member of staff from Ambios Ltd, a nature conservation training organisation who
are partners in the project.

We will be walking at a gentle pace, with stopping points, but there will be uphill sections and some uneven ground. We will cover approximately 2.5 km.

Children aged 6 and above are welcome to join and babes in carry-pouches are fine. The terrain is too uneven for pushchairs.

No dogs are allowed on the walk - we'll be exploring areas away from footpaths where ground-nesting birds or mammals may be.

There are portaloos on site and nearby.
