Sharpham Programme
The Sharpham Programme brings together all the charitable activities that we offer through courses, talks, retreats and activities. These aim to help us to experience and explore ways to live more sustainably and meaningfully in our world.
Bringing people into contact with nature – the natural world and our own inner nature is at the heart of our programme. We offer many different ways in which you can engage with both, in a style that suits you. We hope that you find visiting Sharpham to be an enriching experience that plays some part in supporting your own insight and understanding of what it is to be alive today.
The Sharpham Programme is based in Sharpham House, the Barn Retreat and in the grounds, gardens and woodlands of Sharpham Estate. The estate follows a three-mile stretch of the river Dart and it is this combination of river and landscape that provides the inspirational setting and diversity of opportunities for our Programme.
Our programme includes:
- Environmental education and Forest School
- Mindfulness for Health and Well Being
- Meditation and yoga
- The Barn rural retreat
- The Arts - music and poetry
- Buddhist enquiry
- Talks
- Seasonal open days
