Goodbye to Elke

Elke, the 'face of Sharpham Wine & Cheese' for nearly the last five years, is leaving.

Elke's work as Retail Manager at the famed vineyard, winery and cheese dairy on the Sharpham Estate saw her running the Cellar Door shop, creating and organising tours, conducting wine tastings, meeting brides and grooms to talk wedding drinks and showing off Sharpham Wine & Cheese at exhibitions, shows and festivals.

She's leaving in a fortnight to spend more time with her partner. And her rescue dog Jussi. "I want to enjoy the summer and come back for meals at the Anchorstone and a meander around the vineyard - but as a visitor!" she said.
