Sharpham House
Sharpham House is primarily a venue for groups on residential and non residential courses.
We welcome groups looking to hire indoor or outdoor spaces for residential programmes, particularly where those groups support the principles of the Sharpham Trust.
However – when not otherwise booked – the house and its grounds are occasionally available for exclusive use as a function venue for such occasions as weddings, celebrations, funeral and memorial gatherings.
Sharpham is not a hotel but more a special house in a spectacular setting where we hope you can feel at home and enjoy the relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
We can accommodate up to 31 guests mostly in twin-bedded rooms, with a few ensuite.
Our Music Room provides a comfortable social space, while our Tuesday Room provides a useful workshop room. Our library is well stocked with philosophical books and our dining room opens on to a garden terrace.
The food in the house is vegetarian and sourced, whenever possible, from our kitchen garden. The estate farms produce award-winning wines and cheese as well as organic eggs, meat and vegetables.
We have small car parks to the front and at the rear of the House.
