A place in which to meditate
In the words of our retreatants
- The benefits have been immense. I have learnt to accept what is instead of wishing for an ideal. I have learnt to focus on one task at a time and not rush forward to the end point; I am beginning to learn to still my agitated mind and have lots of new tools to use in my everyday life.

Kuti Meditation Hut
The hut, situated in your own private acre of secluded grounds, contains a bed, meditation mat, wood burning stove, calor cooking stove, table and chair. The kuti grounds also contain an earth toilet.
Lunch, prepared by Barn retreatants, can be discretely collected from the main building daily (Monday to Friday). All other food can be collected from the Barn food store, usually when other Barn retreatants are in meditation. Most kuti retreatants like to take a shower in the main house at this time too.
The retreatant is expected to create their own personal daily structure which includes meditation an hour's (or optionally more) work meditation on the land. Support is given with this on your arrival.
Retreatants are welcome to stay in the kuti for a full seven day week. Fees (to cover all of the above) are £200/£160 (standard/supported rate) per week.
In the winter (October - April) you are also welcome to stay for shorter periods of three days or more for which standard/supported rates are £32/£27 per day.
Current availability: 27 April - 9 May;18 - 25 May; 1 - 7 June; 27 - 29 June.
