Weekly Schedule

The weekly schedule at the Barn is thoughtfully designed to provide opportunities for both individual reflection and group meditation. It is important that you are willing to participate in working on the land as part of your mindfulness practice (we can easily find suitable tasks for people with health difficulies) and that you can commit to all the scheduled activities during the week - this includes three 40 minute meditation sittings each day.

Note that we hold silence from 9pm to 9am each day, and all day Wednesday.

 (unless staying for further week)
Mon/Tue/Thur/Fri - Silence ends with house meeting; quiet mindfulness begins.
 Wed - Continuous silence throughout the day.
10:00   Working on the land / mindfulness practice
 Thurs 11.30 - meditation Q&A
12:20   Meditation (guided on Mon and Tues)
13:00   Lunch
  Arrive between  2.00 and 4.00pm
Time for personal practice:
 reflection, reading, listening to talks on CD, walking, conversation with like minded people.  Or just slowing down and developing a greater appreciation of each moment....
